Co-owner of one of the largest privately owned farm management and real estate brokerage firms in the State of Illinois. Named as one of the top 100 farm & ranch management firms in the U.S. by Agri Finance Magazine.

1985-1994: Vice President & Farm Manager – Union National Bank of Macomb
Supervised all farm management functions of the department, which covered a ten county area of West-Central Illinois. Maintained a superior record of compliance with all FDIC and OCC regulations. Reported directly to the bank President & CEO.

1999-2005: Founding Member – Illinois Prairie Ag Coalition
A non-profit organization formed by area agriculture leaders in an effort to promote and enhance the agricultural economy in Western Illinois.

1997-Present: Broker/Affiliate Member – LaMoine Valley Board Of Realtors

1995-Present: Member – Realtor’s Land Institute

1980- Present: Accredited Member – American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers
Has achieved the Society’s highest designation of Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) and is current with all continuing education requirements of the Society.

1990 -1997: Advisor – University of Illinois, Northwestern Illinois Agricultural Research and Demonstration Center
Served on the advisory committee, which directs the research agenda for the center. Worked closely with University of Illinois agronomy staff in analyzing research data and its application to commercial crop production.

1986- 1990: Director – McDonough County Cooperative Extension Service Council
Served on advisory council, which reviewed fiscal and educational functions of the Cooperative Extension educators assigned to the county.

1980-1985: Farm Manager – Bank of Illinois, Champaign, IL
Managed farmland covering nine counties in East-Central Illinois.
